Career Development Plans (CDPs)

A ‘Career Development Plan’ is for the purposes of the US Department of Justice and State of Rhode Island Consent Decree.  It is a plan that identifies the individuals employment goals and objectives, the services and supports needed to achieve those goals, the persons, agencies, and providers assigned to assist the person attain those goals, and the obstacles to the individual working in an individualized job in an integrated employment setting at competitive wages, and seeks to identify the appropriate services and supports necessary to overcome those obstacles.
