The Sherlock Center on Disabilities at Rhode Island College currently is the recipient of a grant which can provide benefits planning to beneficiaries. (Attach the 2 page Flyer) In the State of Rhode Island there are multiple entities that can provide benefits counseling by a CWIC such as ORS, DLT, BHDDH, and WIPA.

Last month, SkillsRI and Partnership for Rhode Island brought forth a logo design challenge to public high schools across Rhode Island. Over 50 students participated and students from Coventry High School as the design contest winners.

An experimental device that turns thoughts into text has helped a man who's paralyzed to type sentences on a computer screen by imagining that he's writing letters on a sheet of paper.
Researchers say he was able to type about 90 characters per minute.
